Have you ever been treated unfairly and not been recognized for what you had done? Have you ever worked very hard for something and then got nothing in return? This is how the Writers Guild of America is being treated right now. The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers is making profits and not sharing them with the writers. These are the same writers that bring us our favorite movies, and our favorite television shows each and every week. For many people, these television shows and movies are more than just entertainment; they affect our day to day lives and our view of the world around us. Please watch the short video at this link for a brief explanation of their cause:

If you have ever stood up for what you believed in, if you’re a fan of movies and television, please support the WGA by signing this petition.

496 16 Jan 2008 - 0:09    Nicole Yoder : I miss my Office episodes, but this is way more important. I hope it works out.
495 13 Jan 2008 - 22:22    Brandon Rice : As a aspiring writer myself, I applaud the WGA for standing up for the rights of writer's and for trying their best to get the creative minds who make and shape our favorite shows the respect and rewards they deserve. The creative process is difficult and often takes time, writer's are the backbone of the television and motion picture business and yet time and time again they've been taken advantage of and given raw deals. The bigwigs needs to hurry up and realize that writer's deserve to be paid whenever their creative property is used.
